Batch Mixing Equipment

The Twister I&II will mix a wide variety of materials such as sand, peat, bark and soil, as well as chemicals and fertilizers. It also allows incorporation of water into pre-mixed material. The Twister I will mix one cubic yard of material up to 6 batches per hour. A standard or heavy-duty model is available. The Twister II has twice the capacity of the Twister I (2 cubic yards) and is powered by a 7.5HP motor. One special feature of all Twisters is the ribbon blender, which moves material continuously to the sides and through the center for fast mixing and quick removal of mix through the hatch in the Twister's belly. Make a Twister portable with the addition of four 8" casters or with 14" pneumatic tires and drop-pin hitch.

NOTE: We recommend these mixers only be loaded with conveyor or front end loader. See Conveyor Section For Loading And Unloading Equipment.

The competitive grower needs on-demand delivery of specialized, mixed soil to meet production goals. The MixMaker 10 mixing system has the power to meet these requirements.

CAPABILITIES: Up to 12 cubic yards per hour of consistently mixed material such as peat, bark, sand and other materials found in plug or potting mix.

BENEFITS: Constant flow of evenly mixed soil, including chemicals and fertilizers. The unique FloThru_TM Mixing Head insures that every sampling of soil has the proper formulation of nutrients called for in the formula. The 5' height of the bulk hoppers is perfect for loading with a front end loader.

FEATURES: FloThru_TM Mixing Head with water incorporation, automatic shutdown and alarm. If a hopper runs out of material, the system will stop, and a bell will sound. The MixMaker mixing system can be restarted after material is added to the empty hopper.

OPTIONS: Extra chemical hoppers, lengthwise and crosswise agitators to uniformly flow hard-to-feed material.

Precision built for long, trouble-free service. Rotor bar mixing agitator ensures uniform mixing with self-unloading feature.

Heavy duty construction with geared motor. Sliding plate discharge control has hand lever "stops" to set desired flow rates.

Sixty inch working height and 20 inch center discharge height.
